Mindless repetition or focused thought?

Ever stop to think of all the things we learned as children that we can now
recite with out any thought to their content, or what they really mean, and how they
can enhance our lives. One of those things in my opinion is the Lord's Prayer. Oh, we can say it without any hesitation, but do we ever really stop to consider what it means?
I was part of a discussion this past week, on what it really means. And how it is an excellent
prayer to say upon arising every morning, and really focusing on it's message.

                           The Lord's Prayer
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the the kingdom ,and the glory, for ever. Amen
