I have been doing some experimenting with the free standing lace, this time I used a variegated thread in the bobbin, just to see how that would look. I put a piece of white fine tulle in between 2 pieces of regular solvy, since that is all I have. It worked quite well and did not tear away from the hoop at all. Probably because I put the tulle in the middle.

Neato! I went to check to make for sure about the size. Remember last year when I made all those different book marks? I just checked because I treated myself to a Few of them-LOL - and they do average 3 inches. I thought they were too wide at the time -but now they seem just right. When you have something pretty to look at -I guess it just makes a difference. LOL
